What is Mercedes-Benz Service C?

Mercedes-Benz service technician performing wheel alignment

While Service A* and Service B* are an essential part of the Mercedes-Benz service schedule, there are items on the Mercedes-Benz Service C checklist that need to be completed. These are similar to your other regular visits but can take a little longer since there are more replacements and checkups not included in previous appointments, like a windshield wiper blade replacement.**

Mercedes-Benz Service C Checklist

Like with Service A and Service B, Mercedes-Benz Service C includes Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement^. Below is a complete look at the Mercedes-Benz Service C checklist:

  • Mercedes-Benz Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement
  • Oil Filter Replacement
  • Windshield wiper blade replacement
  • Fluid level checks & corrections
  • Computer diagnostics to determine which other areas need attention

Service C is normally scheduled once every three years or every 30,000 miles, but always follow the recommendations on your vehicle’s ASSYST Plus tracker. If Service C happens at the same time as your annual visit to our service center, those additional services can be taken care of then.

How Much Does Mercedes-Benz Service C Cost?

Mercedes-Benz Service C costs vary based on the recommendations from the ASSYST Plus service tracker and the results of your vehicle’s fluid level checks. However, if you’re in the San Antonio area, you can explore our service specials to take advantage of at our dealership.

Knowing Your Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Schedule

Your luxury vehicle’s onboard computer will perform diagnostic checks and assess the remaining life of your fluids. This system, known as ASSYST Plus, will display a wrench on the dashboard whenever it’s time to schedule your next service appointment at our service center near Alamo Heights.

Drivers who know the difference between Service A and Service B will know what to expect from their annual visit. However, additional checks and replacements can be indicated by any of the following:

  • Mercedes-Benz Service C
  • Mercedes-Benz Service D
  • Mercedes-Benz Service E
  • Mercedes-Benz Service F
  • Mercedes-Benz Service G
  • Mercedes-Benz Service H

Similar to Mercedes-Benz Service B covering all of the maintenance items included in Service A, as well as numerous additional check-ups, Services C through H expands on the regular maintenance checklist. These services require additional time as you move down the list. You will have to schedule service at least once per year, or about once every 10,000 miles.
