What’s New for the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C 300?
Truly elegant, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C 300 sedan is the vehicle to beat in the compact sedan category. Sure there are other high-ranking premium vehicles available, but there’s an expert blend of sophistication, performance and technology at play in the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C 300. Mercedes-Benz has been updating nearly every vehicle in their lineup over the last couple of years and the 2018 C 300 sedan has been given a bit of a facelift.
Under the hood, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C 300 sedan has a turbocharged 2.0 Liter inline-four engine that gets 241 horsepower and now rushes from zero to 60 in just 5.8 seconds. That’s a slight improvement from last year. Another update for 2018 is the addition of a nine speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. Lots of gears in the C 300 sedan means versatility and better fuel economy down the long stretch. The rest of the changes are focused on the vehicle’s exterior style and packages. The power sunroof is now standard, but the panorama sunroof is an optional upgrade. The front headlamps of the C 300 sedan have been improved and now feature six individual lamps separated by a continuous LED light bar. The rear tail lights have also been slenderized and rearranged ever so slightly. The sport package is out this year and has been replaced with an entire lineup of AMG® class model trims. You get two model trims, a V6 and a V8 engine package that has performance-tuned transmissions, enhanced handling and new AMG® sport style elements in the cabin.
