Mercedes-Benz AMG® GT 0-60 & Performance Specs

The AMG® GT Coupe and AMG® GT C Coupe are both equipped with a Handcrafted 4.0L AMG® V8 Biturbo Engine. In the former, the engine provides 523 horsepower and 494 lb-ft of torque. The Mercedes-Benz AMG® GT 0-60 time for this configuration is a measly 3.7 seconds. Opt for the higher trim level, and the power generation is a whopping 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. Plus an additional 0.1 seconds is skimmed off the Mercedes-Benz AMG® GT 0-60 time for 3.6 seconds.

The AMG® GT Black Series truly takes things to another level. In this model, drivers will also be equipped with a Handcrafted 4.0L AMG® V8 Biturbo engine. A carbon fiber driveshaft takes off 40% of the weight from the aluminum components utilized in the other models. This, and other performance features, contribute to the 720 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. A formidable Mercedes-Benz AMG® GT 0-60 time of 3.1 seconds is unbeatable on the roads of Shavano Park.

Performance Features

From top to bottom, inside and out, this model was designed with speed and dexterity in mind. Every feature was created with intention. 3-stage AMG® RIDE CONTROL® helps the vehicle adapt to the roads, the track, and even the driver with AMG® DYNAMIC SELECT® to set parameters for performance. A highly rigid, yet lightweight aluminum 4-wheel double-wishbone suspension lightens the load to increase performance. Models are paired with a 7-speed AMG® SPEEDSHIFT®® DCT transaxle, and the torsional and longitudinal rigidity of the GT spaceframe – coming in at 514 lbs provides a high-strength and lightweight basis for speed.
